Cookie & Data Storage Policy

This policy explains how Trustab NG stores data — both on your device (iOS app) and on trustabng.com (this website). Because Trustab NG is primarily a native iOS application, this document covers both contexts.

1iOS App — On-Device Storage

The Trustab NG app does not use browser cookies. It stores the following data locally on your device for offline functionality and performance:

IOU & ledger records — your debt records are cached in JSON format via our LedgerStore module. This mirrors your server-side account data and allows the app to work without a constant internet connection.
Trust Score history — up to 90 Trust Score snapshots are stored locally (trustab_score_history.json). This powers the score sparkline and trend display in the app.
Session tokens — authentication session data is stored securely in the iOS Keychain (encrypted by iOS). It is not accessible to other apps.
Language & display preferences — your selected language (English, Yoruba, Hausa, or Igbo) and UI settings are stored in standard iOS UserDefaults.

All on-device data is removed when you delete the Trustab NG app from your device. It is not accessible to third-party apps. No advertising or tracking SDKs are embedded in the Trustab NG app.

2trustabng.com — Website Cookies

The Trustab NG website (trustabng.com) may use the following limited cookie categories:

3Managing Website Cookies

You can control or delete website cookies through your browser settings:

Safari (iOS/macOS): Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security → Block All Cookies
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data

Disabling essential cookies may affect website functionality. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect any app feature.

4No Cross-App Tracking

Trustab NG does not use any cross-app tracking frameworks (ATT). We do not share your device advertising identifier (IDFA) with third parties. We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, or any behavioural advertising technology on trustabng.com or in the iOS app.
