Common questions

Tap + on the main screen, enter the person's name (or select from contacts), add the amount in NGN, and an optional note. The record is saved instantly and synced to your account.
No. You can record IOUs for anyone. If they have the app, the record is visible in their account. If not, you can send a nudge via WhatsApp or SMS directly from the IOU record when it's time to settle.
All new users start at 50/100. Your score changes based on settlement behaviour: settling on time adds +12, settling late costs −8, an overdue active debt costs −10, and a voided or disputed debt costs −5. The score is computed entirely within Trustab NG — it is not a formal credit score.
KYC (Know Your Customer) is identity verification required for full feature access, including Trust Score visibility and premium subscription features. You'll provide your name, date of birth, nationality, and address to our regulated partner. See KYC & Compliance for full details.
Email support@trustabng.com with the subject line "KYC Appeal — [your phone number]" and include your KYC reference number (shown in-app). We'll respond within 3–5 business days.
Yes. Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts → Trustab NG and select "Never." This will not delete any existing IOU records.
Yes. Your IOU records are private and visible only to you (and the counterparty for shared records). Data is stored in secured cloud infrastructure with row-level security. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Open iPhone Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Trustab NG → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until then.
Go to Profile → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your personal data, subject to the legally required retention period for financial records (up to 7 years). Alternatively, email support@trustabng.com.
